Our Board

In Washington, DC, each charter school is governed by a Board of Trustees responsible for holding the school's charter, ensuring the financial health of the school, hiring the school leader, and adhering to the charter’s accountability plan as defined by DC public charter school law. The Board has a specific number of voting members and set term limits. The Board plays a crucial role in upholding the mission, accountability standards, and compliance requirements outlined in the charter agreement with the DC PCSB. 

 
The Board of Trustees of Perry Street Preparatory Public Charter School is dedicated to providing a high-quality education for students and families in the District of Columbia.
 
Perry Street Prep adheres to all charter school laws and regulations and is funded through support from federal and District of Columbia government sources, as well as contributions from private donors.
